Before you send your photo
Make it look its best.
Send the original, highest-quality image. A full-resolution photo from your phone or camera works best. Avoid screenshots, images forwarded through messaging apps, or photos downloaded from social media.
- Recommended print target: about 200 pixels per inch at finished artwork size. For example, an 8 × 32-inch full-deck image is roughly 1,600 × 6,400 pixels; for a larger mural, the required resolution increases with the total artwork size.
- Preferred files: high-quality JPG/JPEG or PNG. Please keep individual files at or below 10 MB for the initial submission unless we arrange another secure transfer method.
- Portraits and murals: leave room for the curved edges, mounting holes and the gaps between boards. We'll verify your crop and layout.
- Not sure if your photo is large enough? Send the original anyway. We'll review it before payment and recommend adjustments if needed.
Resolution depends on the final board shape, image placement and number of boards. Pixel dimensions—not the DPI label stored in a file—determine how much real detail the image contains. Print-ready export specifications are confirmed with your design proof.
