Designed for display
Give your art a place.
A good skateboard mount should feel almost invisible. More importantly, it needs to suit your wall—not just your board.

Our preferred presentation
Floating, clean, secure.
For most vertical displays, we recommend a low-profile, truck-hole-compatible floating mount with a substrate-appropriate anchor. Horizontal displays and unusual shapes may require different hardware.
Hardware option: from $24 per deck, quoted after compatibility checks. We’ll confirm compatibility and appropriate anchoring hardware before quoting.

Choose the right anchor.
General guidance only; wall condition, actual loads and hardware specifications determine the final attachment.
Drywall + wood stud
Mount directly into a verified wood stud using fasteners approved for the mount and supporting material. This is usually the most dependable option for a single deck or a small mural. Verify the framing and avoid electrical or plumbing runs.
Confirm the mount’s rated capacity, manufacturer instructions and substrate condition before drilling.
Drywall without a stud
Use tested hollow-wall anchors or appropriately rated metal toggle anchors sized for the board and hardware. Standard drywall alone is not a secure fastening point. Check drywall thickness, condition and manufacturer load ratings.
Confirm the mount’s rated capacity, manufacturer instructions and substrate condition before drilling.
Solid concrete or brick
Use purpose-designed concrete screws or masonry anchors in sound solid material, with the correct pilot bit and embedment depth. Avoid drilling through hidden utilities or into weak edges or joints.
Confirm the mount’s rated capacity, manufacturer instructions and substrate condition before drilling.
Hollow concrete block
Hollow blocks are not the same as solid concrete. The anchor must be rated for hollow masonry and installed in an appropriate location. For heavier murals, have a qualified installer assess the wall.
Confirm the mount’s rated capacity, manufacturer instructions and substrate condition before drilling.
Plaster / lath
Determine whether you have solid masonry-backed plaster, wood-lath, or hollow plaster. Prefer a confirmed stud or properly selected substrate-rated fastener; avoid relying on fragile or deteriorating plaster.
Confirm the mount’s rated capacity, manufacturer instructions and substrate condition before drilling.
Tile or stone finish
Choose hardware based on the structural material behind the finish, not just the tile. Drilling risks cracking tile or compromising waterproofing; professional installation is advisable, especially in kitchens, bathrooms or rentals.
Confirm the mount’s rated capacity, manufacturer instructions and substrate condition before drilling.
Safety first: Never assume adhesive strips alone are sufficient for a valuable skateboard display. Always respect manufacturer ratings, building requirements and rental or condo rules. For uncertain substrates, use a qualified installer.
